STUDENT HOTEL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT TEAM ROLES Hotel Developer - The role encompasses developing, identifying suitable locations, securing financing, selecting the brand, and determining construction or renovation. Hotel Designer - The role encompasses conceptualization, interior design, space planning, material/fixture selection, trends, and innovation. Food & Beverage Lead - This role encompasses food and beverage outlet options, menu design, pricing strategies, cost control, inventory management, operational procedures, and pricing strategies. Rooms Lead - The role encompasses operational efficiency within the rooms division, determining room inventory, setting safety/security protocols, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and monitoring revenue reports and performance metrics. Revenue Management - The role includes maximizing revenue and optimizing occupancy levels across various segments. Observe market trends and competitor performance; manage room inventory across distribution channels; set/adjust room rates; and identify revenue growth opportunities. General Manager Team Lead - The role drives operational excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction within a hotel and is the key decision-maker responsible for steering the hotel toward success. The role of a student leading a team presentation is that of a facilitator, an effective leader with organizational skills, communication abilities, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to teamwork and project success.
