Abstract Automatic vehicle wipers are advanced automotive technology designed to enhance driver convenience and safety by automatically adjusting wiper operation in response to rain intensity. Utilizing a rain sensor, typically based on infrared, capacitive, or optical technology , the system detects water droplets on the windshield. A control unit processes the sensor data and determines the appropriate wiper speed, seamlessly adjusting the electric motor that drives the wiper blades. This automated system ensures optimal visibility by maintaining a clear windshield, allowing drivers to focus on the road without manually adjusting the wiper settings.
Existing system The existing system of automatic vehicle wipers consists of various components and mechanism designed to detect rain and adjust wiper speed automatically. Components: ∙ Rain sensor. ∙ control unit. ∙ wiper motor. ∙ wiper blades & arms. ∙ user interface. ∙ power supply. ∙ Arduino uno .
Proposed systems These proposed systems aim to improve safety, convenience, and efficiency in vehicle operations, especially under adverse weather conditions. Proposed systems Basic rain sensing wipers. Advanced weather-adaptive systems. Camera-based systems. Smart wipers with machine learning. Integration with vehicle systems. Voice-controlled wipers. Eco-Friendly wiper systems.
