FIELD TRIPS Library of Cotton University NEHU NEHU SOS Children’s Village, Azara , 2019 SOS India began its work in Guwahati in 1988, supporting children forced to drop out of school or abandoned by their families. Currently, 161 children live in the SOS Village, cared for by 15 mothers and 11 trainees. They attend reputed schools, achieving a 97% pass rate in 2016. SOS India also organizes personality development programs and celebrates various festivals to promote both education and fun .

39. BALLOON ACTIVITY The Balloon Activity is a creative exercise where teachers place chits with various topics related with syllabus content inside balloons. Students burst a balloon, retrieve the chit, and deliver an extempore speech on the given topic. This activity encourages quick thinking, boosts confidence, and enhances public speaking skills in a fun, interactive way.
