SWOT Analysis

Tips for Preparing for Exam
Use all the study materials given by your course provider as your baseline.
Besides the official document containing the syllabus and exam patterns, going
through all the latest sample question papers (past and/or mock test), will give
you an idea of questions asked, presentation demanded, and how to answer in
the exam.
Minimum three times revision is must to clear Most of the Exams.
Complete your course (self-study or tuition) at least two months before exams.
Then properly divide the time between revision and practicing papers.
Practice, Practice, Practice –Solving All MOCK Test Papers
Complete 100% without omitting any topic, but give more importance to where
the exam marks are more (i.e. according to exam pattern)
Right steps will get you some marks even though your calculations are wrong.
(Ask me how?)

Tips for Quick Wins & Optimum Gains!
•CA, ACCA are not full time degrees but you have different chances of getting
degrees along with your course of study; CPA is after a degree.
•Based on the related subject areas of concern, BCom or BCom (Hons) or BSc
Accounting (UK) are suggested. But you can go for any degree that you like to
add.
•Chances for Optimum Gains of taking CMA, CIA, CS, CMA (US), MBA
professional title, either by opting those exams while studying your main
CA/ACCA/CPA or after completing it.
•Even MBA from reputed institutions are Good!
•Even Engineering students are taking CMA (Cost & Management Accounting !
Or PMP & MBA)
•IT & Accounting Management combination is so Good!!

Tips for Quick Wins & Optimum Gains!
•After CA, you might think of going into CS and move
forward towards IAS / IRS to join the real ruling
professional community of India. (In this case CA is
more ideal choice than ACCA/CPA, but it is not an
obstacle as you would have a degree to become eligible
for appearing UPSC exams.
•There are Chartered Accountants taking interest in LAW,
IT, Project/ProgrammeManagement areas of concern as
well –in order to build a dynamic competancyin them.

Tips for Quick Wins & Optimum Gains!
•A pragmatic approach is required to attain success.
•Shortcuts could be found while selecting your ‘courses’ on your
strategic study path, but no shortcuts is there while studying your
selected course. Selective study of the topics or mugging up of
the topics without understanding their rationale or fundamentals
will not help in passing these kind of professional exams.
•Cover the complete study modules provided by the institute
(Board of Studies).
•Practice exam questions to understand the exam question paper
pattern for each level of course.
•Solve the previous year question papers provided on the official
website.
•Solve case studies for law section. (For tax laws, the formats
should be clear to all the candidates).
