What is the main aim of NSS? National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of  developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service . 'Education through Service' is the purpose of the NSS. The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi . 4

What was the motto of NSS when it was formed? Not me but you… Aimed at developing student's personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community . 5

#HIV AND AIDS HIV ( human immunodeficiency virus ) is a virus that attacks the body's immune system. If HIV is not treated, it can lead to AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). There is currently no effective cure. Once people get HIV, they have it for life . What Are the Symptoms of HIV? Fever. Chills. Night sweats . 27

How AIDS are caused? HIV infection is  caused by the human immunodeficiency virus . You can get HIV from contact with infected blood, semen, or vaginal fluids. Most people get the virus by having unprotected sex with someone who has HIV. Another common way of getting it is by sharing drug needles with someone who is infected with HIV . What are 3 symptoms of AIDS? Symptoms of AIDS can include: Rapid weight loss. Recurring fever or profuse night sweats. Extreme and unexplained tiredness . 28
