This Marian Nutri-pot innovation includes 4 important components which is the Marian OrCof , Planting media, water based organic fertilizer and Marian Organic Pesticides. All of these components are produced using hundred percent recycled and natural materials. Introduction

Goals 01 The goal of this project is to encourage students to engage in urban farming as a smarter way of living a healthy lifestyle. 02 03 04 It’s also to inspire children to reuse waste materials and food scraps to make plant pots, organic fertilizers, and organic Pesticides to lessen the environmental pollution. In the long term, it can be beneficial to teach kids about protecting mother nature from a young age.

Material & Method Marian OrCof Planting media Marian OrF Marian OrPest

Marian OrCoF The first component is Marian OrCof (Marian Organic Compost Fertilizer). This Marian OrCof is a mixture of soil, dry leaves, egg cartons, shredded waste paper and waste food. These materials are arranged alternately from the bottom according to the order of soil, dry leaves, egg cartons, shredded waste paper, waste food, shredded waste paper, egg cartons, dry leaves and soil (refer to the diagram below). The mixture of these ingredients is left for a long period of time to allow the molecules in these ingredients to break down to produce organic compost fertilizer.

Marian Planting Media The second component is the Planting Media which consists of a mixture of Marian OrCof , coco peat and shredded paper. The measurements for producing planting media are 2 scoops(100gm) of Marian OrCof , 2 bowls of coco peat and 1 bowls of shredded paper.

Marian OrF The third component of Marian Nutri-pot is water based organic fertilizer. The production of water based organic fertilizer is a mixture of ingredients such as rice milk, stale rice, coffee ground, grass & eggs shell and Aloe Vera. What is inside Marian OrCoF and OrF . Let’s see the nutrients consisted in the Marian OrF :-

Benefits Nearly 18 months we have delved into this innovation giving a positive impact. When we found the results of the growth of all the seeds germinated and the growth is getting fresher every day with organic fertilizers which were made from food waste and waste materials. Among the benefits of Marian Nutri-pot are to save costs because all materials used are from natural and recycled materials. Nevertheless it’s to save the environment from pollution if all human apply urban farming concept for daily basis activity because it can produce plants that are free from the use of chemical fertilizer which is bad for soil and can guarantee to our health because the plants produced are organic. Therefore we encourage people to produce their own vegetables due to the healthy and easy growing process with less cost. Marian Nutri-pot is highly recommended because it saves costs, the process of planting plants is easy and the crops produced are organic in addition to the community being able to reduce pollution and get good health quality.

Marian OrPest The fourth component in Marian Nutri-pot is Marian OrPest (Marian Organic Pesticide). Marian Organic Pesticide is made by mixing garlic, chili, water, cooking oil and dish washing detergent. All these ingredients are finely ground according to a certain measurement.

Future Plan We have decided to expand our invention and innovation to next level that is create Marian Insecticides mainly for exterminate larva’s in the Marian Nutri-Pot. This Innovation we named as Marian Organic Green Guard ( Marian OrG2) which is consists 100% herbal plants. Instead, it’s considered a naturalized plant, being a good neighbor and fitting in the ecosystem .

The growth of plants

Conclusion The conclusion of this project is that it has taught us that waste items may be quite beneficial in our daily lives. The majority of the resources we used to create our project were repurposed, and it worked out beautifully. We should all reuse and recycle discarded materials or products for a variety of reasons, including saving the environment and money. Recycling also aids in the reduction of air pollution. Recycling affects the future because it protects the environment. Recycling helps to keep non-biodegradable materials like certain plastics, which can take up to 1000 years to decompose, out of landfills. This project is a huge success in general. Lastly, every human should aware and apply Marian Nutri-pot based on urban farming concept to ensure our life healthy and at the same time can save our environment from pollution. .
