My tolerance towards the apprentice is put to the test when it seems that he
does not care.
The apprentice that makes me happy is the one who puts the mobile phone
in his pocket during lunch.
Most of the time, I think the apprentices are positive and want to learn.
The apprentice that makes me happy is the apprentice who really shows
interest in the subject and is keen to learn.
Most of the time, I think the apprentices will be my future colleague. They
are here to learn the skills as good as possible and to feel safe.
When I meet an apprentice that is not motivated, it is important to find the
reason for lack of motivation and what is the reason for this.
The apprentice that makes me happy is the apprentice who is proactive and
who shows interest in the subject. An apprentice who dares to be critical. An
apprentice that surprises me in a positive way. One who was somewhat
reserved during the interview and seemed maybe uninterested, but that
really shows in practice ...
