Suresh Raj Sharma (1941-2022) : Distinguished Nepali mathematician and academician. Founder of Kathmandu University and played a key role in promoting higher education and research in Nepal.

Sanduk Ruit (1955-present) : Ophthalmologist and humanitarian known for his work in providing affordable cataract surgery in rural areas of Nepal and other developing countries. Co-founder of the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and recipient of the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2006.

Upendra Devkota (1947-2018) : Neurosurgeon and medical researcher known for his contributions to neurosurgery and medical education in Nepal. Founder of the Neuro Hospital in Kathmandu and played a significant role in advancing neurosurgical care in the country.
