3.4.1 Outcomes of Extension activities in the neighborhood community in terms of impact and sensitizing the students to social issues for their holistic development during the last five years. I nstitute promotes its extension and outreach programmes by making students to participate in various activities. NCC: Organized virtual yoga sessions, Cleanliness drive, Online training sessions on COVID-19 safety protocols, preventive measures and the importance of vaccination. Organized a tree plantation drive, iv)Blood donation camp in collaboration with K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai. I)

Donated 80 blankets to Rajiv Rajan Old Age Home and Ramkrishna Niketan Old Age Home, Shantiva n , Nere. Zoology: i ) Poster presentation on health impacts of junk food at Bhagubai Highschool, Lecture by a nutritionist to offer diet counselling for students and their parents. ii) Educate students about snakebite prevention and first aid in association with Friends of Nature, Chirner , iii) Road safety awareness program in collaboration with the local traffic police department Program on mangrove conservation organized with the Mangrove Foundation at Pirwadi sea shore, Uran.

Outcomes: 1) The activities conducted raising social awareness among students and benefiting the community. 2) Initiatives included tree plantation and beach cleaning for environmental conservation, COVID-19 vaccination drives, hygiene campaigns, and AIDS awareness rallies for public health, as well as voter registration programs to promote civic responsibility. 3) Educational efforts, such as supplying school essentials, biodiversity lectures, road safety, waste management, and personal hygiene workshops, supported holistic student development and social consciousness
3.4.2 Awards and recognitions received for extension activities from government / government recognised bodies 1) In 2019, the college was recognized for its contributions to environmental conservation and HIV-AIDS awareness programs, both receiving recognition letters from Friends Samajik Kalamanch . 2) The same year, the Beach cleaning activity was acknowledged by Friends Samajik Kalamanch . 3) In 2020, the college received the prestigious Best College Award from the University of Mumbai for its exceptional performance in academic, social, and administrative activities. 4) The engagement of institution in blood donation camps was recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation from G.S. Medical & K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai and University of Mumbai (NSS). 5) The college also played a pivotal role in organizing the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav program, commemorating India’s independence, for which it was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Revenue Department, Uran. 6) Recognition was earned for awareness programs on food adulteration and waste management, with accolades from Friends Samajik Kalamanch and ICL High School, Vashi, respectively.
