Part 1 Review-Analyzing Essay Questions
Task words – (verbs) what are you being asked to do? Discuss? Agree or disagree? Content words - (nouns) the main topic area. Limiting words - (extra information), may be time frame, location, specific people… These have to all be addressed in your response Activity 1 What are the three types of key words in an essay question?
