Youth and Nation

We have all heard of the statement * India is a young.
nation”, What's meant by this is thatthe population ofthe
‘youth in our nation is at a greater percentage putting usina
highly favorable situation, As Swami Vivekananda always
strongly advocated the power of youth in building a
nation. is a high time we ‘embraced his teachings. We the
youth are no longer the * future * but we are already the *
Present * the reins of taking the nation ahead has allen in our
hands now. Our preceeding ‘generations have done their part
in establishing this nation and bringing itt this stage and
now itisup tous to continue their legacy. As children of
Mother India we owe a great debt to our motherland. It is time to. strengthen ourselves
‘mentally, physically and spiritually fr this reason. As youth, we face countless challenges today
and and so does our nation, The major problem youth face is mental health issues anda lack of
direction and discipline in thet life, Being mentally fi is more important than physical health, I's
the mind that can carry forward the body. As youth we must take utmost care of our mental
health there is no shame in speaking out our problems and seeking help. We are only human and
‘everyone faces challenges. I's the courage to face them and find a solution to them that matters
more. Our broken education system makes us believe hat marks and scores are what matters the
most when itis truly skill and knowledge that matters the most. As Youth let's focus on acquiring
“and mastering new skills, skills that will enhance not only our life but also of ad in the continuous
progress of our motherland. To the teachers reading this, you hold the true power to change the
{ate ofa nation. As beacons of knowledge, we look up to you for guidance and help. Remember,
‘each students unique and has abilities way beyond te textbook syllabus. Make the youth realize
their potential. Never underestimate the power you possess as a teacher, I's not by mere
coincidence that teachers in our nation are worshipped as embodiments of the Almighty. On a
concluding note, as youth, believe its of utmost importance we protect and improve ourselves
‘mentally and physically and pay back the debt we oweto ournation.

Happiness and Activeness

HAPPINESS : Happiness is something which is not
available outside it is created inside us, if we are happy we
can make others to. I has become a therapy for many
diseases. As the quote says ‘A day without laughter is a day
wasted’ so itis important to be happy whatever might be the
situation it brings confidence in us and portrays in such a
way that everybody starts liking us. In this stressful world
happiness is very much required fr us to be calm and stress
relieved. Its notable that smiling with full mind and heart gets the stress and tension out of us. So
lets laugh and try to make others laugh. Being happy is very easy but to make others happy i is
difficult. letstry tout.

ACTIVENESS :Activenessis not only physically being active but also mentally, being active is very
important because it makes the work faster and it increases the presence of mind which is lacking
in today's youths. As the people of today are becoming weak minded after pandemic the peoples
‘mental stability has slightly decreased and itis making them weak in such a way that they go with
the hasty decisions like “suicide”. So according to me being active and involving in other works
can make your thinking positive, a they say that “Empty mind is devil's workshop”. So let's keep
ourselves active and get involved inthe things which are necessary.
Atlastto conclude “Being active may not make you happy but being happy can definitely make

‘Teenage : The Hunter Plant

Life as a teenager is thrilling yet challenging. Adolescents find
themselves in a unique phase, caught between childhood and
adulthood, yearning for experiences beyond their reach yet stil
srappling withthe responsibilities of maturity.

Much like the Hunter Plant, teenagers exhibit a curiosity that sets
them apart. In the human lifecycle, adolescence stands out as a
distinct stage, akin to the uniqueness of the Hunter Plant in the
botanical world.

Teenagers resemble innocent butterflies, flattering about in ther colorful existence, unaware of
the dangers lurking around them, But who can be blamed when these vibrant creatures fall prey o.
the allure ofthe Hunter Plant? The fault lies neither wth the plantnor the butterfly, butratherin the
lackofawareness on both ends.

While teenagers possess the capacity to explore and define ther interests amidst a sea of new.
experiences, butterflies rely on their taste receptors to guide them towards sustenance. Yet,
despite these instincts they succumb tothe mesmerizing rap ofthe Hunter Plant.

The journey from caterpillar to butterfly mirrors the transformation from childhood to
adolescence. Before the intrusion of the Hunter Plant, butterles focus on schooling, play, and
parental approval. However, as they emerge from their cocoon, they spread their wings 10.
navigate the emotional, cognitive, and physical changes of adolescence.

Fortunately, support systems such as educators, family members, counselors, and psychologists
stand ready to assist teenagers in confronting the challenges akin tothe roleofthe Hunter Plant.

Despite its predatory nature, the Hunter Plant holds economic significance, much like how the
teenage years contibute to personal growth. Adolescence teaches individuals to confront
‘mistakes, overcome obstacles, and build the resilience necessary for success inlife'sendeavors,

In essence, while the Hunter Plant may symbolize danger, it also serves as a reminder of the
transformative power inherent in the teenage experience. Just as butterflies emerge from their
cocoons, teenagers navigate the tumultuous journey towards selfdiscovery, aided by the support
and guidance ofthose around them.

Refugee in a wreckage

When the protector becomes a predator,
Where do you seek shelter?

Who will you go home tot

Who will you hug and feel safe?

Now that your hometown isa graveyard
Filled with dreams as dead as corpses
And hope as useless as debris

Where will you find solace?

Silence

There's something very profound in your silence,
That never get to hear it

Maybe I'm not holy enough,

Buta trip to you isn't a pilgrimage either.

I've seen half decayed corpses, bufalo skulls
and hungry wake of vultures on the summit
Echoes of suffering, your only offering,

And hence I bring you myself,

Sacrifice my saying,

Gift you my sanity and silence:

In an attempt to ll you into a slumber.

But the savages of your crusade

‘Ae like a kid out ofthe cradle;

Wailing, wild and with unquenchable hunger.

Why education in Sanskrit language is important and the gurukul
system practices should be integrated with modern education?

‘The Gurukul system of ancient Bharat was superior in all forms, students of every single
generation learttrue skills in practicing froma "Guru". Sanskritwas he only mode of transmission
‘of knowledge from the guru to the “shishya disciple). Sanskrit language isa highly scientific
language which is unparalleled in this world, known tobe the ‘Deva bhasha' or the language of
the gods' ¡his language reprograms and restructures the human brain because of is divine

rations when chanted or studied upon. Modem science has proven ths through theory called
"Theory of linguistic relativity’ or ‘Sapir Whorf hypothesis’ which tates thatthe kind of language a
person learns, speaks and studies shapes the way he or she perceives his world and his or hers
‘cognitive capabilities, This means hat we study in English language our perception ofthis world
will be different, we will be creating a negative perception and become ignorant, walking away
from knowledge. If we observe the students Le. our ancestors who had studied completely in
Sanskrit were immensely knowledgeable and their intellect was unparalleled in this world. Our
ancestors like Chanakya, Varahamihira, Aryabhatta, Bhaskara Charaka, Sushrutha etcetera were
superior in intellect and knowledge, propounding various works across the domains of
Politics Economies Mathematics Physics Medicine and lot more thousands of years before even
‘when the lineages of western scientists hadn't even begun. This great power of Bharat was in ts
Sanskrit education. It was the extensive use of Sanskrit education and the Gurukula system that
protected the civilizational ethos and moral principles ofthe Indian society giving bith to great
ideas and discoveries. Today English education has severely degraded the intellect of the youth,
we no longer focus on knowledge and skills rather we focus only on performing better than the
‘other in ‘examination’ which test our capability o recreate written information rather than testing
and encouraging the unique abilities each individual possesses. This grave injustice can be
prevented only with revival of Sanskrit education and by integrating certain Gurukula Practices
into modem Education system whichisinadie tate.
