• The study determined the relationship between parental support and academic performance of the grade 11 Senior High school students. • The subjects of the study were 55 grade 11 Senior High School students at Nama National High School (NHS). •This study used a correlational research design. Introduction • PARENTAL SUPPORT HAS BEEN DEFINE AS "PARENTAL BEHAVIORS" TOWARDS THE CHILDS, SUCH AS PRAISING, ENCOURAGING AND GIVING A PHYSICAL AFFECTION WHICH INDICATE TO THE CHILDS THAT HE OR SHE IS ACCEPTED AND LOVE". • IT PLAYS PIVOTAL ROLE IN SCHOOLING OF A CHILD AND ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL FACTORS IN A CHILDS EDUCATION WHICH IS POSITIVELY RELATED TO THEIR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE.
Theoritical Framework Social Learning Theory - this theory posits that children learn by observing and imitating their parents. Parental Involvement Theory - theory states the importance of parents actively participation in their schooling and etc. and showing interest it positively impacts academic outcomes of the students Cultural and Socio-Economic Factors - the cultural and Socio-Economic background of the family can significantly influence the type and level of parental support.

Statement of the Problem 1. What is the Profile of Senior High School Students of Nama National High School in terms of: A. Name B. Grade Level and Strand C. Age D. Occupation of Parent/Guardian 2 . What is the effect of Parental Guidance to the Academic Performance of Senior High School Students? 3. Is there a significant relationship between Parental Support and Academic Performance
Hypothesis ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESES 1. There will be a significant relationship between parental support and academic performance of students. 2. There will be significant effect of parental support to the academic performance of students
This study only covers Grade 11 Senior High School Students in School Year 2023-2024. It focuses on the Relationship between Parental Support and Academic Performance of the students. In this study, there were 55 respondents: • 8 students from Grade 11 Home Economics (HE), •31 students from Grade 11 Information Communication and Technology (ICT), and •6 students from Grade 11 Humanities and Social Science (HUMSS) students from the First Semester, School Year 2023-2024. Scope and Delimitation of the Study
Significance of the Study The findings of this study will reveal may benefit certain group and the benefit they may be able to gain as follows: To the students. It will help them to do better in their academic performance in school and also to be a good children to their parents. To the parents. Parent can comprehend the initiatives that they should do to strengthen their relationship with their children and how they can support with their child studies. To the future researchers. This study may serve as a basis to the researchers to be conducted in the future for improvement, additional results that lead to a new or better study.
Methodology The research for this study can be done through the use of survey questionnaires. Survey questionnaire method is used as the gathering instrument for this study. It composed of (10) questions about the topic. The 55 Grade 11 students from Nama National High School were the participants in this study. The stratified sampling was used in this study.

Discussion Most of the respondents is belong to the age of 16 who got 34 or 67% Greater Part of the parent of the respondents thier occupation is housewife who got 24 or 44%
Discussion • Majority of the respondents answered it's easier for them to finish their school task with their parent who got 31 or 56% • The respondents answered that parent support contributes to their academic performance who got 48 or 87%
Discussion • Most of the respondents answered through parental support their is a great impact to their academic performance who got 52 or 95% • Majority of the respondents they answered thaty they noticed a improvement in their academic performance with the help of their parent with a total of 49 or 89%
Conclusuon Majority of the respondents is belonged to the age of 16 and from the Grade 11 ICT and their parent is belong to the housewife. There is statistically significant relationship between the two variables in their study. The hypotheses was accepted as the results in the findings.
