2. RATIONALE In the time for the opening of classes on August 22 and the full face-to-face classes on November of 2022, a group of teachers urged the Department of Education (DepEd) to ensure that security is strictly implemented in schools to ensure the safety of students and teachers. The Teachers' Dignity Coalition (TDC) issued this appeal ensuing a report that some teachers of a school in Camarines Sur were “robbed and even molested” by thieves who entered the school. The public schools continue to find a way to let only the students of theirs to have access inside.

3. RATIONALE As we face the urgent implementation of strict securities around the school premises, it becomes valued to also reassure the state of the students’ parents. Another factor is the assurance of a student’s adviser teacher, as they are responsible for the student’s status inside the school. Innovative technologies such as robotics, can be used as a device to use for the school’s security. It can be programmed to monitor the students’ activities and whereabouts. As it will also be easier for the teachers to know their student’s condition.

4. RATIONALE This proposes an innovative way of dealing with our school’s issues regarding the safeness of students and personnels. The students’ ID will serve as a gate pass in order for them to get inside the school. Using a scanner device, as they scan their ID, it will send a message to their parents, and send a record to their advisers that they have arrived at school. With this technology it can assure the safety of everyone in the school. By implementing this study, we can pave the way for a more safe and secured state for the students, and have a better and more comfortable learning environment for everyone.
