Past Continuous The Constant Past, it is a verbal time that describes actions that were being realized in a moment of the past to which one refers and which then they continued To Formulate prayers Affirmative: Subject+Was/ Were + Ing Negative: Subject+ Was/ Were + Not+Ing Interrogative: Was/ Were + Subject+Ing?

Example: I was listening to music Yesterday he was studying English Mary was playing soccer at 8 p.m They were singing an English song I were not thinking about this problem Exercise:    She _______ (play) basketball yesterday at five o’clock. We _______ (study) hard yesterday afternoon.  They ______ (watch) TV when I arrived. The thieves ________ (steal) when the police arrived. They ______ (smoke) yesterday in the morning.  

Present Continuos It is a verbal time that is in use for expressing actions that happen in the same moment in which one is speaking To f ormulate prayers: Affirmative: Sujeto+ Verbo auxiliar ( to be) + Ing Negative: Sujeto+ Verbo auxiliar ( to be) + not+ Ing Interrogative: Verbo auxiliar ( to be) + sujeto + Ing

Example: He`s eating I`m talking They`re learning He`s not eating Are they learning? Exercise: You (get)__________ hungry now They( play ) ___________ the game now She (shop) ____________ at the mall now He( swin ) _______________in the pool now I( talk ) ___________ now

Future Continuos The Constant Future is a verbal time that is in use for describing an action that will take place in the future, which can be specified or not, and that will continue developing in this moment To formulate prayers: Affirmative: Sujeto + "will be" + gerundio Negative: Sujeto + "will" + "not" + "be" + gerundio Interrogative: Verbo auxiliar "will" + sujeto + "be"+ gerundio?

Examples: I will be studying la lesson. She will be working at the office this afternoon. They will be travelling to London We will be working He will not be working Exercise: At three o’clock tomorrow, I ___________ (work) in my office At three o’clock tomorrow, you___________ (lie) on the beach At three o’clock tomorrow, she ____________ (exercise) at the gym
