2. INTRODUCTION Frock is prepared in many ways, styles, and fashion. When a bodice is attached to a skirt, it is called a frock. Sleeves and collar are attached according to fashion and customer ’ s taste. This frock is mostly used for babies up to three years of age. It may be decorated by using lace, frill, smoking, embroidery, appliqu é etc.

3. FEATURES Yoke body Skirt gathered Bell sleeve MEASUREMENTS Bodice length =15cm Skirt length =41cm Chest round =56cm Shoulder width=23cm Sleeve length =13cm

4. DRAFTING PROCEDURE YOKE BODY BACK PART 0-1=bodice length + 1cm 0-2=1/2 shoulder width + 1cm 1-3=0-2 0-4=1/12 chest + 1cm 2-5= 1.5cm 0-6= 3cm 3-7= 2cm 0-8= 2.5cm for placket opening 1-9= 2.5cm for placket opening FRONT PART 0-10=1/12 chest + 2cm Shape 5-3 for front scye depth

5. SKIRT PART 0-1= skirt length + 1.5cm 0-2=1/4 chest + 3.5cm +15 to 20 cm for fullness 1-3= (0-2) 2-4=2.5cm 2-5=2.5cm 4-6=1.5cm 3-7=2.5cm

6. CUT COMPONENTS Cut-5 Bodice part-cut -3 Back part-2 Front part-1 Skirt part-cut-2 Front – 1, back-1

7. SUITABLE MATERIAL Cotton Poplin Terri cotton Nylon Silk Satin

8. DIRECT MEASUREMENT METHOD Amount of clothe required = Twice the bodice and skirt length + seam allowance = 56 cm + 10cm = 66 cm = ¾ meter (approximately)

9. STITCHING PROCEDURE CONSTRUCTION DETAILS Join the shoulder seams of the bodice. Finish the placket opening. Finish the neck with binding. Gather the skirt parts to the required measurements. Join the skirt parts to the bodice parts. Finish the side seams on the skirt part. Attach hooks and eyes to the placket.

10. COST CALCULATION Material cost : 100 Surface enrichment : 50 Stitching charge : 100 The cost of yoke frock is 250 RS.
