SUBJECT ORIENTATION SUBJECT COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with the concepts, principles and mechanism of safe drug administration in promoting, managing and restoring health of clients across the life span. Emphasis is given in the vital role of nurses in adhering to ethico -legal standards in the use of medications. Various concepts such as pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions including patient responses are included to ensure that scientifically sound, effective appropriate and collaborative nursing care is delivered to all levels of clientele.
