It offered practical exposure in prescription handling, patient counselling, and dispensing of medications. This experience strengthened professional competencies, bridging theoretical and practical pharmacy knowledge.

3. Introduction, Aim & Objectives Internships connect academic knowledge with real-life practice. The aim was to gain insight into hospital pharmacy operations. Objectives included: • Understanding prescription handling • Observing patient counselling • Learning inventory and drug management • Applying theoretical knowledge in real scenarios

4. About the Organization – Brij Nursing Home Brij Nursing Home, Kosi Kalan, is a healthcare institution offering affordable and quality medical care. It houses a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. The pharmacy department ensures safe medicine use and effective patient care. The institution follows protocols for patient safety and standard treatment guidelines.

Practical Training Hands-on training covered: • Dispensing medicines and verifying prescriptions • Patient counselling and explaining medication use • Inventory and stock management • Observing pharmacovigilance (ADR reporting) • Understanding hospital pharmacy workflow This enhanced practical confidence and real-world pharmacy experience.
