III. TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCEDURES
A. Before /
Pre-Lesson Proper
The class will be divided into
5 groups
- each group will be given
jigsaw puzzle
-after solving the puzzle, the
group must tell something
about the picture.
The teacher will present the
“Fill in the blanks” activity
and ask the learners to
complete it
The teacher will present
the previous quiz:
Tell whether the following
traits is mentally healthy
or not mentally healthy
( 5 items )
Using PowerPoint
presentation, students will
be instructed to drag a
smiley or sad face onto the
blank using the laptop's
mouse.
B. Lesson Purpose /
Intention
The teacher will now
introduce the topic “MENTAL
HEALTH”.
The teacher will play a video
about “Unsung Hero” from
Thailand.

-Ask the learner to describe
the man in the video.
The teacher will show
pictures and the learners
will guess the missing
letters!
The teacher will ask a
question about the previous
activity.
-Based on the activity, what
do you think is our lesson
for today?.

C. During / Lesson
Proper
-The teacher will lead the
discussion about mental
health.
“Mental or Intellectual Health
It refers to the ability of an
individual to think and
improve his skills in life.
A mentally healthy person is
open to new ideas about life,
family and environment.”
-The teacher will play a video
clip about MENTAL
HEALTH.
-The teacher will lead the
discussion about
characteristics of mentally
healthy adolescents

into four groups to
discuss among
themselves how the

their mental health.

-Body Image
-Peer Pressure
-Family Expectation

will present their group's
output to the class.”

2. Distribute images
showing various
approaches to protecting
mental health. Each group
will present the following
output.
