Orientation of Reading Assessment Tool After October 16, 2021 Reading Assessment Tool Division Online Orientation with Ma’am Mil Flores, we conducted a School Level Orientation. After RAT Administration and gathering all the results, Pipindan Es Teaching Force continued evaluating and monitoring the pupil’s progress thru text and online platform. Due to pandemic, limited assessment and evaluation were also conducted. Pupils were given additional reading materials to be read at home.

Reading Assessment Tool (RAT) Result T he summary of results shows that: There are 286 Reading recipients in English and 236 Reading recipients in Filipino. With the use and application of collective reading materials of BRB4, RAT Kit, Marungko Reading Approach, Fuller Modules and other adopted reading materials the pupil recipients shows improvement on their reading skills. 176 out of 286 reading recipients or almost 61.54% were improved in English. 110 or 38.46% need to continue reading intervention. In Filipino, 167 out of 235 or almost 71.06% were improved. There were 68 or 28.94% remaining pupils that need to undergo continuous reading intervention.

Resolution: Teachers and parents agreed to work hand in hand to motivate and encourage the reading recipients to participate actively in the intervention. Teachers should monitor the child progress in a weekly basis. Parents at home should make a follow up on the reading skills of their child. Parents should also spend reading time with their children.
