Do you know who I am?

A tiny creature, buzzing through the world, collecting sweet nectar and building a home of wax."

What you observe about bees.

what the poem might be about based on the title. POETRY THE LITTLE BUSY BEE – - Issac Watts

POETRY THE LITTLE BUSY BEE – - Issac Watts How doth the little busy bee Improve each shining hour; And gather honey all the day From every opening flower! How skillfully she builds her cell! How neatly she spreads her wax, And labours hard to store it well With the sweet food she makes! In work of labour or of skill I would be busy too; For satan finds some mischief still For idle hands to do. In books or work or healthful play, Let my first years be passed, That I may give for every day, Some good account at last. 1 2 3 4

Issac Watts born on July 17, 1674 and died on November 25, 1748. He had mastered Latin , Greek, Hebrew and French. The first hymn book composed by him for children was Horae Lyricae . His popular hymns are : “ O God , Our Help in Ages Past”, “ The Psalms of David ”, and “Jesus Shall Reign ”. The bee is always busy. It builds the hive very skill fully and stores sweet honey in it. Like the bee, we too must be busy and always do useful work.

Use these words in your own sentence while comparing something: Like, As Example: My backpack feels as heavy as a rock after school. The classroom was quiet like a library Raindrops fell like tiny marbles on the window pane He ran as fast as a cheetah across the playground. The movie was so scary, it made me jump like a frightened cat. The teacher explained things clearly, as easy as one-two-three! Raise your hand like a flag if you have a question. Line up quietly in a single row, like ants marching one after another. Sharing is caring! Let's share our crayons with friends, like good classmates. Our classroom rules are simple to follow, like 1, 2, 3 !

How can we describe its color in a way that's more interesting than just saying "red"? ????? The strawberry was as red as a juicy cherry. The strawberry's color popped like a red balloon. The strawberry was as red as a ripe apple. The strawberry glowed red like a traffic light.

A Metaphor is a figure of speech that compares two things by stating that one thing actually is another. Example: The test was a breeze. My room is a jungle gym He ran like a cheetah. Her/His jokes are crackers The teacher's lecture put me to sleep. Math class is a headache Friendship is a treasure My stomach is growling like a lion
