What Happens When Police Use Excessive Force
Some police officers really do bad things to people who
don't deserve it. When police use excessive force on
civilians or violate constitutional rights, they routinely
arrest victims for imaginary "resistance offenses" to
shift blame.
California Penal Code Section 148(a)(1) and Section
69 are so vague that police can always claim an
innocent person "resisted" or "obstructed" them. Courts
and District Attorneys often assist violating officers by
prosecuting victims on bogus charges.
