Mobility to the Czech
Republic (23-26.04.2024)
eTwinning project
“Medieval adventures
with Marco Polo”
Wiktoria Szczakowska, class 6a, SP9 Dzierżoniów

On the first day when we arrived at the center, we were greeted by Czech children and
together with them we did a task on a piece of paper ‘Find someone who...’

After completing the task, we went for a walk to the forest and there was a kind of
playground in the forest.
And we went for lunch. And afterwards we
got the keys to the houses.

On the second day we went to Olomouc. At the beginning we went
to the Science Centre "Pevnost poznani", where we could
experiment, learn various secrets of the fields of science (biology,
physics, chemistry, astronomy,...).

In the afternoon we spent getting to know the old town of the city:
from the Lower Market Square with St. Mary's Column, through the
Upper Market Square with the Holy Trinity Column.

We also saw and visited: the town hall with the astronomical
clock, and we went to the Gothic Cathedral of St. Wenceslas...

On the third day of the mobility in the Czech Republic, we went to
Prague: Visiting the Prague Museum –the exhibition
"Prague of Charles IV".

Then a guided tour of the city along the route of Charles IV: the building
of the old town hall with the astronomical clock, the statue of Charles IV,
the Charles Bridge, the Royal Castle, the Senators' Garden and the
Cathedral of St. Vitus.

Last day: we visited the partner school of Zakladni skola A. Jiraska, where we were
shown around by Czech students. We also visited the Mayor of the city of Laskroun
in the Town Hall. There was also time to climb the town hall tower. Unfortunately,
the time to say goodbye came and we had to say goodbye. We had to leave.

I really enjoyed the trip to the Czech Republic,
I could see beautiful places that I haven't seen
yet, make new friends and spend the days as
best as possible.
