What is Invasion games? Invasion games are activities that demonstrates one's ability to create and move into space—striving to score a goal or score points
THESE INCLUDES: • Basketball • Football •Floor ball • Hand ball
Invasuon games are categorized into two: • Focused on a goal basket or target •Focused on a open goal-finish line or space
1. Focused on a goal: Basketball,Handball,Football , and Floorball -The objective of these invasion games is to invade the territory of the opposition team to score a goal or point.
Now, lets get to know each example of focused on a goal
1. Basketball • Basketball, is one of the famous invasion games that are accessible to the public •It is a team sport with the objective of shooting the ball at the opponent's basket • It is played by two teams with 5 players each.
2. Handball • Handball, is an invasion game that requires team dynamics to control the ball • It needs to maintain ball possession, aim to score and prevent the other team from scoring. • Handball is a combination of the elements of football and basketball.
• Football, is another example of invasion game that is one of the most popular in the world. • The match is divided into two 45-minutes halves. It is player by two teams of 11 players. • Playing this game, does not allowed using your hands, only the goalkeeper in each team has the permission to handle the ball. 3. Football
4. Floorball • Floorball, is considered an indoor non-ice version of ice hockey. • It is played on a wooden court • This invasion game, consists of five players each team. • It is player with a lightweight stick and a plastic ball with holes.

Manipulative, transferable skills and fitness requirements in an invasion game:
invasion game involve many forms manipulative, transferable skills, and fitness requirements for you to play them.
MANIPULATIVE SKILLS : . • this involve the uses of hands and feet in controlling the movements of objects like passing and catching a ball. • These skills are transferable to different forms of other sports.
The following are the manipulative transferable skills, and fitness requirements that are common among invasion games :
1. Sending an object : • This includes kicking, passing, and throwing a disc or ball.
2. Receiving an object: • It can be done in different ways, such as catching it with your hands. • Cradling a ball with your feet and holding an object with stick
3. Dodging : . • This involves evading, chasing, or fleeing from an opponent by doing a quick movement to avoid a player or object
4. Travelling in multiple directions: • Means moving in different directions. • This includes moving forward, backward, to either side and in all diagonal directions.
5. Spatial Awareness • This is one of the essential skills you should consider • Spatial awareness will enable you to fine more effective ways to protect your own territory
6. Speed and Agility: • This considered to be the most important fitness requirements • These skills can help offensive players evade defenders and create opportunities to score.
What is the meaning of speed and agility ?
•Speed - is the ability to move quickly in the shortest period. • Agility - is the ability to change direction quickly.
Some strategies common to all invasion games
- to win an invasion game, strategies like having good defense and offense and tactical awareness are important.
• Offense : is when a team tries to score • Defense : is when a team tries to prevent the other team from doing so.
Tactical Awareness • is the ability to recognise tactical issues that arise during a game and choose the best solutions.
