I. TITLE 1.Project DREAM: Digitized Recorded and Enhanced Audio-Instructional Materials 2. Project STAR : Strengthening Teachers Achievements through Research
RATIONALE THIS PORTION DISCUSSES THE REASONS AND ADVANTAGES OF HAVING SUCH ACTIVITY OR PROJECT IN RELATION TO: IMPROVING QUALITY OF EDUCATION IMPROVING ACCESS ENHANCING GOVERNANCE IT SHOULD BE AT LEAST 3 STANZAS
This is an offshoot of the proponent’s attendance to the National Seminar-Workshop on Developing and using Appropriate Teaching and Learning Resources. As a matter of giving back to the education community, teachers are challenged to create avenues and scholastic activities to make learning more meaningful and interesting. In the advent of the Most Essential Learning Competencies Matrix, learning support materials are scarce to deliver them to the learners. True to Somewhere Else NHS, this dilemma then gives rise to the purpose of developing intervention to close the gap on the inadequacy of learning support materials and the need for upskilling teachers competence in the development of interactive learning resources (SPPD) . Rest assured that the outputs will be an integral part of the interventions adaptable to the learning modality in facilitating teaching and learning in a bid to address the great challenge posed by the pandemic. PLAN OF ACTION THIS INCLUDES YOUR: OBJECTIVES (G eneral and Specific ) TIME FRAME SUBJECT, TARGET CLIENTELE AND/OR COVERAGE SOURCE OF FUND and BUDGETARY REQUIREMENT ACTIVITIES TO BE UNDERTAKEN (GANTT CHART)
III. PLAN OF ACTION A.Objectives : Generally, this workplan aims to adress the need to provide learning resources as a crucial element in improving the students performance. The particular targets are: 1. To create, digitize , and record audio lessons as supplementary instructional materials to Grade 7 learners of Somewhere Else NHS; 2.To i mprove the MPS of Grades 7 learners through the aid of supplementary Digitized Recorded and Enhanced Audio-instructional Materials ; and 3.To enhance, upskill and reskill teachers’ competence in the preparation of Digitized Recorded and Enhanced Audio-instructional Materials.
The workplan will be conducted in 3 phases: first phase will include the orientation of the select teachers on the objectives and processes of the workplan by August 2023 . The second phase will be the school-based webinars on the creation of the different outputs using the needed software applications along with the quality assurance of outputs, pilot testing and revision from September 2023 to November 2023. The third stage will be the submission of completion reports which will be done by the end of the year. U tilization of the learning support materials will start at the first quarter of school year 2023-2024. B. Time Frame
C. Subject / Target Clientele The recipients of the project will be the incoming Grade 7 student s. The proponent will request the expertise of 6 journalism teachers of the district for the formulation of scripts and recording the Radio- Based Instruction. S pecial assistance will also be sought from the School and District Quality Assurance Team and the EPS in charge of Journalism. At least twenty-five (25) Grade 7 students from nearby high schools will be tapped as subjects for the pilot testing, seeking approval from the Schools Division Superintendent and observing proper correspondence.

IV.IMPACT OF THE WORKPLAN THIS PORTION CONTAINS THE LEARNING IDEAS AND EXPERIENCES DERIVED FROM THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROJECT. GENERALLY, IT PROVIDES POSITIVE EFFECT ON THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO IMPROVING SCHOOL PERFORMANCE.
IV. IMPACT OF THE WORK PLAN Education must go on amidst this pandemic. To attain this, teachers need to enhance their skills to adept, adapt and adopt to the new normal. Hence, this workplan wants to ensure that learners will be provided with adequate and appropriate instructional materials to support the learning modalities. The expected impact are the following : 1. E nhanced audio lessons as supplementary instructional materials. 2. Improved academic performance 3. Upskilled teachers in the development of learning materials By the time the plan has ended, the teachers are more capable of implementing instructional enhancements and learners performed self-learning and has become more independent to receive quality teaching.
