Story Summary Once upon a time, there were three bears: Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. One day, they left their house for a walk. A girl named Goldilocks entered their house. She ate their porridge, sat on their chairs, and slept in Baby Bear’s bed. When the bears came back, they found Goldilocks sleeping. She woke up and ran away.

Comprehension Questions 1. Who are the characters in the story? 2. Where did the story happen? 3. What did Goldilocks do in the bears’ house? 4. What did the bears find when they came home? 5. What lesson can we learn from this story?

Grammar Focus – Simple Past Tense We use the past tense to tell about things that happened in the past. Examples: • Goldilocks ate the porridge. • She sat on the chair. • She slept in the bed. Pattern: Subject + Verb (past form) + Object
