It has been known by all individuals as the media to assist understudies simple to memorize the words. It can make understudies like to memorize and say the words. (Millington, 2011) Song have a critical affect on progressing students grammar. Song will make learning agreeable within the classroom. Most understudies appreciate singing, and they regularly react favorably to melodic exercises within the classroom, since melodies can offer assistance to make a loose and casual air that produces the classroom a nonthreatening environment. Based on the statement above, the researcher choose songs in improving students’ vocabulary mastery because by using songs students can have a lot of fun and get rid off their tiresome during the lesson. Therefore, the researcher will do a research entitle “The Effectiveness of Using Songs in Improving Students’ vocabulary mastery”

METHODOLOGY E O1 X1 O2 C O3 X2 O4 The fact that the data in this study are numerical makes it a quantitative study. With a pre-test and post-test design, it is quasi -experimental research. Considering the connection variables is a strategy for assessing objective hypotheses, according to Creswell (2017). It include gathering, processing, interpreting, and writing up study findings. Farhady and Hatch assert that "one group pre-test and post test design is similar to the one shot case study". In this case there are two group which is one control group and group treatment.
Subject of t he Study The population taken by researchers is students of SMA Negeri 1 Tondano. The sample that will be taken is class 11 science one and 11 science two, with a total of 30 students .
