READ ALOUD A long time ago, Java Island was crooked, and to fix this, a mountain needed to be placed in the middle of it.   The mountain, named Mount Jamurdipa , was brought from the southern sea. However, in the designated spot, two masters, Empu Pamadi and Empu Rama, were crafting a keris (a traditional heirloom dagger). Batara Narada and Batara Panyarikan , sent by Batara Guru, asked the masters to leave, but they refused. They explained that moving while crafting a keris would ruin it. This disagreement led to a war.   The gods were defeated, which made Batara Guru furious. He then commanded Batara Bayu to blow Mount Jamurdipa into place. In an instant, the mountain was moved, crushing the two masters beneath it.   Although the two masters perished, their fireplace remained active and turned into a crater. 6. Sekar Langit Sekar Langit is a famous waterfall in Magelang . According to the legend, the waterfall was where seven angels bathed and swam. The most famous story about this place is the legend of Jaka Tarub and Nawangwulan . Once upon a time, there was a young and handsome man named Jaka Tarub . One day, he was lucky enough to see the angels while they were playing near the waterfall. He decided to steal the scarf of one of the angels. Jaka Tarub believed that by stealing the scarf, the angel wouldn't be able to fly back and would have to stay on Earth. Jaka Tarub successfully stole the scarf. When the time came for the angels to fly back, Nawangwulan , whose scarf had been stolen by Jaka Tarub , stayed behind. She had lost her magic. Jaka Tarub pretended to be kind and offered to help her. Nawangwulan trusted him. After some time, their bond grew. Eventually, they got married.
