MY FIELD STUDY EXPERIENCES

INTRODUCTION The shift in the past several years has moved from Teacher-Centered Curriculum to Student-Centered Curriculum, which has shifted the focus on the knowledge, skills, and competencies which student have when exiting a course or program as well as changed the process of course design. – Donnnely ad Fitzmaurice, as cited in O’Neill, and Moore, and McMullin 2005.

Beliefs on Teaching and Learning Teaching is what teachers do; learning is what students do. There may be no direct connection between the two. Students learn best when actively engaged. Success is best measured in the behavioral changes of students. And I, believe that as a teacher, my influence upon to others will be great that is my responsibility to be good influence on people especially on my future students.

Bibliography Good day! I am XZ Mae Pacifico , 21 years old. A fourth year student of Colegio de Sta Ana de Victorias taking Bachelor of Elementary Education. I currently lived at Zone 4 AB Barangay Purisima , Manpla Negros Occidental. I was born in a middle class were in if you want something go and work hard for it. I witnessed all the hard work of my parents, my father working in the sugarcane and sometimes as a construction worker while my mother work as a picker in a crab meat plant the work there is every other day and far from our home and obviously their income is enough only for our daily necessities. But, I am so lucky that they send me to study college imagine how their sacrifices for us. Now that I am on my last year on college I will do my best to finish my chosen course to make my parents proud.

Observation Of Classes, Pre-Observation and Post-Observation Conferences

■ Viewing selected videos of demonstration lessons from YouTube and other sources and reflecting on the teaching learning activities using guide questions through modules and worksheets. ■ Viewing videos includes teaching-learning processes in different LDMs (Learning Delivery modality) focusing on the delivery of the Most Essential Learning Competencies ij actual teaching and reflecting on these processes. ■ Interviewing teachers on lesson preparation in flexible learning and distance learning delivery mode. ■ Attending pre-observation and post-observation conferences with the Resource Teacher and the College Supervisor. ■ Submitting anecdotal reports on details during the observation sessions.

The class started with the prayer and checking the attendance. Then for her motivation she prepared an energetic song. After that she let her pupils participate in the class by asking question, to know if the learners understand the discussion she conduct a short quiz to measure her pupils learning's. Before they end she let her students open their cameras for the attendance. They end the meeting on time. Viewing of Demonstration Lesson from Youtube https://youtu.be/595Y9Ff22Aw

The answer of the resource Teacher in the interview The New learning modality mode has brought us a lot of adjustments because there is new normal policy implemented, it was quite difficult for us and for the students on how to use resources in teaching. Anecdotal Report Submitting anecdotal reports on details during the observation Andrew Raphael Oliveros a Grade 3 – Courage student of CSAV-IS. He is one of the student under the class of Sir Erwil in MAPEH 3. During our observation I have noticed that he always participate in every discussion, mostly he is first in sharing his thought, ideas and experiences in the class to the point that sometimes the flow of discussion destructed because he cannot stop sharing and asking questions to Sir Erwil . Andrew is a type of student who is very serious and curious all the time he repeatedly asks if something is unclear or bother to his mind . But I must say that Andrew is a gifted students

Classroom-Based Action Research Entitled: PROJECT PATH (PARENTS AS TEACHER AT HOME) By: Jasmin Antonio and Kavin Villaruz

Reflection on the studied CBAR The outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has cause unprecedented global socio-economic disruptions. One of the areas negatively impacted is the education system. The country’s over reliance on traditional face-to-face teaching has brought about the serious challeges to policymakers who have to decide how learning would proceed in the absense of physical contact between the teacher and the learner. The researcher came up with this study to address the numeracy issue of the learners in Grade 3, by this intervention learners can pratice their level profiency in doing exercises and basic math drills. And also, this study would be beneficial to parents, teacher and especially for the school to improve the quality education.

REFLECTION

Reflection During my observation period I have realized that teaching is not an easy work and it takes more patience and effort. But as what I have experienced during observation in Grade 4 pupils they are much more responsible and its not hard to deal with. They are so many questions during discussion so, it that means they listening to what their teacher teach. I realized also, that when you are a teacher you need to be a knowledgeable to prepare for your pupils nonstop questions because as their age they more curious in everything they see they love to explore and interesting to discover new things. These observation journey as pre-service teacher help so much to widen my knowledge and experience the situation in real classroom setting although it is online class but, I am still grateful and lucky to experienced despite of this pandemic we faced. My observation help me prepared myself to
