PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE In this presentation you will learn how to use present perfect simple and you will be able to produce sentence correctly . This plant has grown five centimeters in a week.

USES For actions which happened in the past , but the time is not mentioned exactly . For actions that happened in the past and their results are obvios in the present. Examples : Anna has bought a bunch of flowers . They have made a cake of chocolate. We have walked around the park . ( we are exhausted ) Adelle has washed her car. (It is clean now )

GRAMMATICAL RULES We form present perfect simple with the auxiliar verb have/ has. We use verbs in past participle . We uses has with We use have with She I He You It They We Karime and Rafael have caught the mouse. Melina has awoken pretty hungry. Esteban has worked in a international firm . Irregular verbs Base form Past simple Past participle awake awoke awoken be was /were been blow blew blown catch caught caught The past participle of regular verbs is the same as the past simple, we only add – ed (work-worked, save-saved).
