Water There is one nutrient that we need to take in our body each day which is called water. Water is needed for different purpose in our body. Almost 60% of a persons body’s weight is made-up of water. Benefits of water: Water in cells allows all the different chemicals inside them to dissolve, so that they can react together. This reaction keeps us alive. Water in blood allows it to flow easily, transporting substances all over the body.
