1.Eaglesflyaloneatahigh
altitudeandnotwithsparrows
ormixwithothersmallerbirds
likegeese.Birdsofafeather
flocktogether.Nootherbird
goestotheheightoftheeagle.
Eagles fly with eagles.
Never in a flock. Even when Moses (Old

5.TheEagletestsbeforeit
trusts.Whenafemaleeagle
meetsamaleandtheywantto
mate,shefliesdowntoearth
withthemalepursuingherand
shepicksatwig.Shefliesback
intotheairwiththemalestill
pursuingher.Onceshehas
reachedaheighthighenough
forher,sheletsthetwigfallto
thegroundandwatchesitasit
falls.Themalechasesafterthe
twig.

Thefasteritfalls,thefasterhechasesuntil
hereachesitandhastocatchitbeforeit
fallstotheground,thenbringitbackto
thefemaleeagle.Thefemaleeaglegrabs
thetwigandfliestoamuchhigher
altitudepursuedbythemaleuntilshe
perceivesithighenough,andthendrops
thetwigforthemaletochase.Thisgoes
onforhours,withtheheightincreasing
untilthefemaleeagleisassuredthatthe
maleeaglehasmasteredtheartofpicking
thetwigwhichshowscommitment,then
andonlythen,willsheallowhimtomate
withher!

tolayeggs,thefemaleandmaleeagle
identifyaplaceveryhighonacliffwhereno
predatorscanreach;themalefliestoearth

thecreviceofthecliff,thenfliestoearth
againtocollecttwigswhichhelaysinthe
intendednest.Thenhepicksthornsandlays
themontopofthetwigs.

completethemaleeagle
runsbacktoearthand
picksmorethorns,grass

thornsontheoutsideof
thenestprotectitfrom
possibleintruders.Both
maleandfemaleeagles
participateinraisingthe
eaglefamily.

Thepeoplewholoveusdonotletus
languishinslothbutpushushardto
growandprosper.Evenintheirseemingly
badactionstheyhavegoodintentionsfor
us.

7.WhentheEaglegrowsold,hisfeathersbecomeweakand
cannottakehimasfastasheshould.Whenhefeelsweakand
abouttodie,heretirestoaplacefarawayintherocks.

Whilethere,he
plucksoutevery
featheronhisbody
untilheiscompletely
bare.Hestaysinthis
hidingplaceuntilhe
hasgrownnew
feathers,thenhecan
comeout.
Weoccasionallyneedtoshedoffold
habits&itemsthatburdenusaddno
valuetoourlives.
