PRESENTATION SCHEME INTRODUCTION ACADEMIC PLAGIARISM TYPES OF PLAGIARISM CONSEQUENCES OF PLAGIARISM IN STUDENTS REAL CASE OF PLAGIARISM COLLABORATIVE WORK CHARACTERISTICS OF COLLABORATIVE WORK CONCLUSIONS
INTRODUCTION Academic plagiarism is a serious problem that affects the integrity of institutions and people, involving the misappropriation of work without adequate recognition. This dishonest act carries serious consequences, such as academic sanctions and reputational damage. In contrast, collaborative work, based on cooperation and effective communication, encourages learning and the achievement of common objectives through well-defined roles and flexibility.
ACADEMIC PLAGIARISM Plagiarism is understood as the literal or paraphrased copy of an author's ideas without giving the corresponding credit in an academic work. It is a phenomenon that affects academic life as it implies a violation of its norms and a questioning of the student's education.

III. Consequences of plagiarism in students Plagiarism can get you kicked out of your college career. Plagiarism can result in his work being nullified. Plagiarism can result in expulsion from your academic institution, and in some cases, permanent expulsion Plagiarism could result in legal action, fines and penalties etc. Damage to reputation in the student and academic community They are exposed to rejection of the work by the teacher.
REAL CASE OF PLAGIARISM An mechanical engineering student is developing the "Academic Research" course and as one of the course products, he has been asked to deliver the academic article on the subject of technology in the industrial sector. The student promised to deliver his advice the following week, the teacher reviews the progress and observes certain inconsistencies in it, for example, the writing styles change in some paragraphs of the work, going from first to third person. Also, one of the paragraphs reminded him very much of an article he had recently read. He decided, then, to look for some fragments of the work on the web and he found with the surprise that, in fact, a large part of the work came from two specialized blogs and, others, from some articles in specialized magazines. Unfortunately, the student had not cited these sources, nor included them in his reference list. Then the teacher decided to talk to him to clarify what happened. Then the student confirmed what he had done, however, he considered that this was usual for a work of this type, he was not aware that it was plagiarism and that it was not ethical to do so.
COLLABORATIVE WORK Collaborative work, often referred to as teamwork or collaboration, involves individuals working together to achieve a common goal. Collaborative work leverages the strengths and abilities of multiple individuals, resulting in improved outcomes, efficiency, and innovation.
characteristics of collaborative work Collective thinking: This is the basis, since it is not possible to think at an individual level, but the objective is common, as well as the achievements that are achieved, they will all be shared among the individuals who participate. Responsibility with the tasks: Although the thought is collective, and the collaboration has the same character, it is necessary to be responsible with the tasks and individual actions that will influence the rest of the process. The objectives must be defined in the first instance for everyone to know: The idea is to achieve them through shared work and the sum of the individual tasks of all the members of this type of work. Without leaders : When it comes to collaborative work, there is no specific leader, all members have a voice and a vote, they intervene, and the opinions expressed on any topic or issue are taken into account.
CONCLUSIONS Lack of culture and training on the forms and methods of research, including the appropriate form and/or forms of citing The comprehensive training of university students is essential, which should include awareness of the obligation to properly cite authors and works used in research, as well as the risks of plagiarism. Plagiarism is a danger not only for the research itself, but also for the educational quality of the students, who will maintain vices acquired during the university stage throughout their professional lives, with the danger that this may entail for their professional careers It is necessary to promote ethics in writing, in addition to fostering the habit of recognizing and giving credit to the intellectual authors of works or ideas that are cited by journalists, students, teachers and researchers.
DISCUSSION OF ACADEMIC TOPIC Environmental Impact of Mining in Peru Index Introduction Main Environmental Impacts Mitigation Measures Conclusion
Introduction Peru is one of the world's leading producers of minerals. Mining is a crucial economic activity but also generates significant environmental impacts.
Main Environmental Impacts Deforestation and Loss of Biodiversity Mining extraction, especially in the Amazon, leads to deforestation and habitat loss. Affects endemic species and local biodiversity. Water Contamination Rivers and lakes are contaminated with heavy metals (mercury, arsenic, lead) and chemicals (cyanide). Affects water quality and the health of nearby communities. Soil Degradation Mining alters the structure and composition of the soil, leaving it infertile. Erosion and sedimentation negatively impact agriculture and vegetation.
Main Environmental Impacts Air Emissions Mining releases toxic particles and gases (sulfur dioxide, metal dust) that pollute the air. Contributes to climate change and affects respiratory health. Impact on Local Communities Communities near mines face health issues due to contamination. Population displacement and social conflicts.
Mitigation Measures Regulation and Environmental Monitoring Implementation of stricter regulations and constant monitoring of mining activities. Clean Technologies Use of less polluting technologies and sustainable mining practices. Rehabilitation of Affected Areas Reforestation and soil recovery programs post-exploitation.
Conclusion Mining is a vital economic activity for Peru, but it is essential to balance economic development with environmental protection. Implementing mitigation measures and promoting sustainable practices is crucial to minimize negative impacts.
