Community Groups Fall Community Groups kick off September 7th. Come experience biblical community and discussion as we apply Sunday’s sermon to everyday life. Groups meet twice a month in homes across our city, usually on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 4–6pm, with childcare provided at the church. Visit our website to see locations and to contact group leaders.
D-Group Training Jesus commands us to be disciples and to make disciples. Unfortunately, many men have never been discipled and aren't sure where to begin. On Sunday, September 14, from 6-7:30pm, we're hosting a D-Group Discipleship Training for men in the Gathering Room. This evening is for any man who wants to grow in his walk with Christ and learn how to help others do the same.

A text cannot mean what it never could have meant to its author or his or her readers. ~ Jen Wilkin
What the best advice you have ever received? Why is it so valuable to you?
Principle vs. Promises Principles to guide you through the broken world we were born into. Context matters, but so does genre. We misread Proverbs by taking its sayings as promises from God, guaranteed to come to pass. It’s not uncommon to hear Christian parents say they’re claiming as a promise Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” But faithful parenting doesn’t always result in children who follow the Lord, leaving us questioning if God is true to his promises. ~Jen Wilken The Gospel is a promise you can hold onto no matter what the world throws at you. DO YOU BELIEVE THAT? JESUS PAID THE PRICE SIN SEPARATES US GOD MADE US
What is your current plan for listening, accepting, holding on and guarding God’s truth daily as a couple? What is one thing you could change right now to be more aligned with the Lord?
Do you have any wicked things in your life that you need to get rid of for the good of your family now and in the future?
Psalms 1:1-2 (ESV) Book One The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Psalms 1:3-4 (ESV) The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked 3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. 4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
Psalms 1:5-6 (ESV) The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; 6 for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
