LOCATION Prozone mall is located at MIDC Area, Chikhalthana Area of Aurangabad. It is the center of the city and easily accessible to one and all.
ABOUT PROZONE The developer of this mall is Prozone Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. Prozone Mall was one of the largest and the first horizontally designed shopping mall in India. It has over 1 million square feet of retail space and ushers in the concept of modern retailing in Aurangabad

The floor description are as follows : An anchor shops are on ground floor as well as on first floor. The Ground Floor and the First floor have shopping areas and its floor-to-floor height is 4.5 mts . Two main entrances for the mall. It has more than 150 retail stores selling top local and international brands. In the basement floor it has SARAL BAZAAR, FUNTASTICA ADVENTURES and SPORTS The middle basement ( B1) has mechanical stack parking for four wheelers. The capacity of B1 and B2 is 1000 cars Approx. The upper basement (B1) has two-wheeler parking and its capacity is 1000 vehicles. FUNCTIONAL STUDIES
The First Floor has Food Court, Gaming Zone and Clothing Shops. The First floor also have a cinema theatre (INOX), having 5 screens and Food area that acquires 40,000 square foot area. There are also pans to build an Office complex above the centre. The central area of the mall i.e. atrium is always occupied by some activity in the festivals . Simplicity in planning. MATERIALS
The entire flooring of the mall is done with Glazed Vitrified Tiles. The glossy finish of these tiles reflect more brightness enhancing the lighting and offers a royal look to the interiors. They can withstand more than granite & marble which can also resist scratches & discoloration . Different flooring patterns at different zones so that the area was segregate. Plaster of P aris is done in throughout the mall as a lot of artificial lighting is done in malls and commercial buildings . Perforated Armstrong Ceilings are installed in shops LIGHTING This ceiling plays a crucial part in optimising light reflectance and can even produce energy savings. ACOUSTICS It has sound absorption qualities. INTEGRATING SERVICES Lighting, speakers, air conditioning, ventilation and smoke detectors are essential components that can be incorporated into the ceiling. Also all the light fittings & the smoke detectors can be easily concealed in these false ceilings. It is easy to install , does not need skilled labours & easy to maintain. CEILING

Proper seating areas for everyone after some interval. The walkways have seating made of wood and finished with oil paints. PLUMBING The water is not tapped from the water main but is provided through tankers. The jockey pump is connected to the overhead tank. It acts as a fire pump and maintains uniform pressure throughout the sprinkler system. Plumbing shafts ( 2500 x 1150 ) Water is supplied to the washrooms directly through the overhead tank. DRAINAGE The water from the waste pipe is collected in a sewage tank .This water is re used. The waste is then sent to the intermediate tank, where aeration and flocculation takes place. It is then left still for about 7 days in a separate tank after which it sent to the sewage treatment plant. This water is then re used by the mall . DRAINAGE SYSTEM
GARBAGE Waste from all the floors is collected manually and dumped in a garbage collecting space. The garbage is segregated into wet and dry waste. This space is accessible to the garbage collecting truck. The mall plans to make 2 garbage chutes (wet and dry) which would open up on the service area and reach the garbage collecting space. Air conditioning system used – VRV/VRF System (Variable refrigerant volume/Variable refrigerant flow) R22 gas, a refrigerant is used for cooling . COMPONENTS An AHU (air handling unit), is a device having a large metal box containing a blower, cooling elements, filter racks, sound attenuators and dampers. MECHANICAL AND AUTOMATED PARKING SYSTEMS The site being sloping the basements are accommodated within the site slope. There are 2 basements Also parking facility around the mall . Mechanical parking systems provided by Klaus Multi parking. Manually operated. Can accommodate two cars for the space of one. Standard pallet size = 2500 x 4800 mm
ENTRY AND EXIT Due to site constraints, no ramps were possible. Presence of residential units in the neighbourhood and sloping site entry and exits points were restricted to one. B1 and B2 had entry and exit points common respectively. Separate ramp has been provided for the entry of water tanker and garbage collection truck beside the parking area. ACCESSIBILITY Two access routes – Primary road divided into a secondary road directly leading to the mall . Primary road divided into secondary road leading towards the mall and residential apartments around.
GAMING ZONE There are many play equipment in the mall to attract the childrens.
INFERENCE The concessional facilities are those which have a contractual right to carry on business in a particular venue. E.g: Concession stand, a temporary or permanent booth that sells snack foods or fast food, typically found in movie theaters, amusement parks, fairs, swimming pools or festivals . These activities in a mall operate on their own. Eg: cafes and retail shops or small stalls . There is uniform area allocated to each stall, and some brands combine these areas to increase their floor area and obtain more display and/or storage . The adjacency of each unit is such that there is availability of all types of shops on each floor .
