Academic achievements On 12 th May 2023, CBSE released the results of the board exams. PSG Public Schools got 100 % pass percentage in both Grades 10 & 12 . 65 students appeared for Grade 12 exam, and we obtained ideal outcomes with an overall average of 81.41 percent. 56 students appeared for Grade 10 exam, and we achieved perfect outcomes with an overall average of 88.19 percent.

Science Expo 2023 National Service Scheme, Coimbatore Tidel City, along with Kanithavani , conducted the Science Expo 2023 at Coimbatore Institute of Technology on January 28th, 2023. Jai Sujan S.J. and Rohit Kumar, of Grade 11 won the First Prize for the Working Model on Sewage Rover and were highly appreciated by the jury panel from SNMV College, Coimbatore.

The 9 th Tamil Nadu State Sub - Junior Roll Ball Championship 2022-2023 was held on 16 th and 17 th October 2022 at Dindigul . Krishna Sandeep Jumani of Grade 7A secured second place and received a certificate and a Silver medal.’
G.Varadaraj Memorial Sports Meet The G.Varadaraj Memorial Sports Meet and the 35 th Kiddies Anuual Athletic Meet, organised by the Amateur Athletic Tournament Association of Coimbatore, were held at PSG Medical College on February 3, 2023. 57 students represented our school, and we bagged the Best March Past Shield. Shashwanth of 6 B won first place in javelin throw.
R.Sriadhithya of class 8A participated in largest Humar Latter Formation of Decathlon by performing Silambam Rotation for 2 hours on 9th July 2023. It was considered as New World Record and registered in the Nobel World Records registry.
State Level Yogasana Competition AUM Yoga Therapy Trust organized the First State Level Yogasana Competition held at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, R.S.Puram , Coimbatore, on 20 th November, 2022. Hasita Sree of Grade 7 represented our school and secured fourth place in the competition Global Yoga Teachers Welfare Association organized State level Yogasana Competition at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, R.S.Puram on 27th August 2023. G.J.Sankamithra of class 7A won second place, Hasitha Sree of class 8A won third place.

6 KSCC Throwball 6 TH KSCC interschool throwball tournament was held at smart modern school Tirupur on 29 October 2022 in which Under 19 girls and boys team emerged as runners, Anusha Ramkumar of grade 11 and Dhanush ms of grade 12 received best player award in their respective categories.

The 6 th KSSC Inter School Basketball Tournament 2022 – 2023 was held at PSG Public Schools on 4 th November 2022. We emerged as runners in U-14 Boys and U – 19 Boys categories.
The 6th KSSC - Inter School Badminton Tournament 2022 – 2023 was organized by Yuvabharathi Public School on 21st and 22nd November 2022. Mirdhuna of Grade 9 emerged as winner in Singles, Under17 category. Mirdhuna and Nikhitha of Grade 9 emerged as winners in Doubles. Kesavram of Grade 7 – emerged as runner in Singles, Under14 category. Rahul Shraven of Grade 8 and Kesavram of Grade 7 emerged as runners in Doubles, Under14 category.
KSSC - 6TH ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET Kovai Sahadoya Schools Complex – 6th Annual Athletic Meet was held from 1st to 3rd December 2022 at Bharathiyar University. 23 member schools participated in the meet. 88 athletes represented our school in various categories. Our school secured second position in U-19 category for Girl, second position in U-12 to 17 category for Boys, third position in U-12 to 17 category for Girl and second position in U-12 to 17 category for Boys and Girls. Our school bagged U-19 Boys Overall Champion Rolling Trophy and the U-19 Boys and Girls Overall Champion Rolling Trophy.
In the 6 kscc Interschool competition Dhanush.M.S of Grade XII received the individual championship for U–19 Boys category, and he created a new record in 100m running with 11.84 seconds.
Our school secured second position in U-19 category for Girl, second position in U-12 to 17 category for Boys, third position in U-12 to 17 category for Girl and second position in U-12 to 17 category for Boys and Girls. Our school bagged U-19 Boys Overall Champion Rolling Trophy and the U-19 Boys and Girls Overall Champion Rolling Trophy.

Programes for students
Mock Parliament *Mock Parliament – a model parliamentary proceeding was conducted on 24th November 2022, for the students from Grades 9 to 12 *The aim of the youth parliament was to strengthen the roots of democracy and enable the students to understand the workings of parliament. *Around 30 students participated as various cabinet ministers and created the look of a real parliament. The session was divided into "Achievements of Various Ministries," "Question Hour," "Short Discussion," and "Zero Hour" and various issues were discussed.
Career Counselling sessions for the students of Grades 10 and 12 was conducted by our wellness teacher Ms. Janani . A detailed report with the results of their personality, aptitude and interest tests was presented together with courses/careers tailored for the student. Individual Career Counselling - One-on-one meetings were held with students and their parents to discuss courses, careers, and college entrance examinations
Students of grades 11 and 12 had an interaction session- With the delegates from universities of Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Uk regarding the scope and the opportunity in the field of Engineering, Medical, Business.
Awareness Programme Awareness programmes and Awakened citizen Program were conducted on the following topics Dealing with Exam Stress’ Personal hygiene management Safe and unsafe touch. Being Heroic and expanding myself Safety rules to be followed on roads
KUTTY COPS Kutty Cops an awareness programme to spread traffic-related awareness and to prevent road accidents was conducted in our school campus for the students of Grade 6. They had prepared charts on road safety measures.

Rise and Shine: A Pep Talk to Ignite Your Fire! PSG Public Schools' Alumni Association initiated Pep Talk Sessions as a part of student development programme for the academic year (2023-2024) for the students of grades 9 to 12. On 17th June 2023, the first session of Pep Talk has been conducted by our alumna Ms.Amritha Ragha / vendiran , the Resource Person of the day. She discussed many paths and opportunities accessible in the humanities and social sciences. The second pep talk session was conducted on 5th August 2023. The resource person was our alumni Ms.Gayathri Shreedhar. She spoke about Careers in Psychology & International Relations and top Skills for success in these fields. The third pep talk session was conducted on19th August 2023. The resource person was our alumni Mr. Aadil Arsh. He spoke about GitHub's functionalities and the significance of cyber security tools.

Teachers achivements Tamilnadu Masters Athletics – 37th State Masters Athletic Championship – 2022 was organized by Salem District Masters Athletics on 17th and 18th of December 2022 held at Mahatma Gandhi Stadium, Salem, Tamilnadu . Mrs.G.Shoba , HOD of Physical Education Department ,secured First place in Discus Throw with the performance of 21.39m, First place in High Jump with the performance of 1.15m, Second place in Shot Put with the performance of 9.32m in 35+ years category.
Mr Kuppuswamy , Physical Education Teacher secured Second place in Javelin Throw with a performance of 15.98 m in 75+ years category.
Staff day celebrations To commem orate the Staff Day 2023 celebrations, PSG institutions had conducted Inter-Institutional Cultural Events for the staff of all PSG Institutions . At Inter-Zonal Level Mr. Madhan Bharath from the Department of Languages won second prize in Stand-Up Comedy.. Mr. E. H. Sathish Kumar , Vice Principal won third prize in Tamil Poetry Writing and Recitation Competition.

AGM Annual General Body Meeting for the academic year 2022-23 was held on 10th June 2023. Vice Principal MrE.H . Sathish Kumar addressed the gathering and spoke about the infrastructure developments initiated by the school and highlighted the CBSE boards’ results achieved by 10th and 12th standard students for the academic year 2022 - 23. Followed by the speech the new PTA representatives were introduced. The session was concluded with vote of thanks given by outgoing PTA president Mr. Manoharan
PTA Monthly Parent Teachers' Association Executive Committee Meeting was held at our school at regular intervals . Principal, Vice-Principal, Headmistress, president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and parent representatives of various grades took part in the meeting. Academics and other activities of the school were discussed in the meeting
Orientation sessions Orientation sessions were conducted by our principal Mr.Girish Eswaran, on 2023, for grades XII, VI, XI, & X respectively, and by our Vice Principal, Mr.E.H.Sathish Kumar for grades IX, VII & VIII respectively. The action plans, assessment patterns, parental participation in monitoring students' performance and progress, and the need for 21st-century skills in their overall development were explained and the queries of parents were answered.

CULTURAL FIESTA Cultural Fiesta was held on 14th and 15th of July 2023. The off stage and the on stage events (Drawing, Poem Writing, WOW, Food without Flame, Rangoli, Singing, Dancing and Playing Instruments) were conducted among the four houses of the school (Cauvery, Godhavari , Krishna and Vaigai). The cultural activities enhance the level of confidence of the students thereby allowing them to perform better by competing among themselves.
"Learning Beyond the Classroom: An Educational Adventure Trip" As a part of its curriculum, PSG Public Schools organizes educational field trips for the students every year to reinforce experiential and contextual learning. On June 30, 2023, students of, Grade VI students visited Perur Patteeshwarar Temple and Kanangasabhai and Isha Yoga Center. Grade VII students visited the Aroma Milk Industry in Karanampettai , Coimbatore. Grade VIII students visited AP TEX (Textile Industry), Tiruppur . Grade IX students visited KG Denims in Perundurai and Chennimalai Murugan Temple. Grade X students visited the Tata Radio Astronomy Centre & Ooty, Grade XI Science Stream students visited Pillur Dam. Grade XII Science Stream students visited the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Bengaluru. Grade XI and XII Management Stream students visited the Stock Market Institute (SMI), Bengaluru.
22nd Annual Athletic Meet 22nd Annual Athletic Meet was held on 12th August 2023, with great zeal, excitement, and a frolicsome atmosphere. Shri. N. Ramamoorthy, Sports Officer and Senior Manager (IOB) was the Chief Guest, Shrimati . Patricia Marie Tanner, se condary Grade Teacher, Veteran Athlete was the Guest of Honour . Students of Grades 6 to 12 competed in events including sprints, relay, hurdles, long jump, shot put, discuss throw, javelin throw. The students displayed Karate, Yoga, Silambam , Pyramid, Mass drill and Aerobics mesmerizing the audience with their energetic performances .

Children’s Day Celebration The Children’s Day celebration was held on 14th November 2022. The students were entertained with cultural programmes by the teachers.
TEACHER’S DAY Teacher’s day was celebrated in the Primary wing Auditorium on September 2nd, 2023 at 11.00 am by the Parent Teacher Association. Our principal Mr. Girish Eswaran welcomed the gathering and PTA President, Mr.Ramachandran addressed the gathering with a speech. The day was marked with honoring the teachers and giving gifts to them as a symbol of obligation towards their service both by the members of the PTA and the students. Mr.Sathish Kumar, Vice Principal delivered the vote of thanks.
