Learning Task 2: CHEER ME UP! Execute the following movement and positions in Cheer dance.

BEGINNING STANCE Feet together, hands down by the side in blades.

T MOTION Both arms extended straight out to the side and parallel to the ground, relax the shoulders.

TOUCH DOWN Arms extended straight and parallel to each other, fist facing in.

TABLE TOP Arms bent at elbow, fists in front of shoulders.

L MOTION One arm extended to the side with other arm extended in a punch motion.

HAND MOVEMENTS AND POSITIONS IN CHEER DANCE

CHEER UP & DANCE Let students make an own routine/choreography combining the hand and feet positions in cheer dance. They may choose at least 4-5 combinations of at least 16 counts each. Let the students repeat twice their routine to show mastery of the skills. Use the criteria below to assess their performance. Coordination 30% Synchronization 40% Over-all Performance 30%
