Non-religious Milestones

Not everyone is religious but they still
attain key milestones in their lives.
Those that do not believe any god
whatsoever exists are known as atheist.
An agnostic is someone who doesn't
believe it's possible to know for sure that a
god exists.
Let’s explore possible non-religious
milestones using Shakespeare’s The
Seven Ages of Man.

It is believed that Shakespeare wrote this
poem as part of his comedy, ‘As You Like
It’, in 1599. How would you describe the
seven stages in this poem in your own
words?
Would you call these seven stages
something different now in modern-day
language?
Show me
Looking at each of
the seven ages,
describe them in
your own words and
suggest what you
might rename them.
Are they similar or
different to the
Christian rites of
passage you
explored last lesson?
