The project titled "Beyond the Classroom: Understanding Placement Experiences" aimed to comprehensively assess the placement experiences of MBA students from the 2022-2024 and 2023-2025 batches at LM Thapar School of Management. To achieve this, a detailed survey was conducted, gathering responses from 56 students. The survey was designed to capture a wide range of experiences related to their academic and professional journey, focusing on critical aspects such as networking opportunities, placement sessions, participation in workshops, the overall MBA journey, and the effectiveness of library resources.
The survey included five subjective questions, allowing students to provide detailed and personalized feedback on their experiences. These questions were instrumental in understanding how the students perceived the support provided by the university, the relevance and impact of the tasks they were assigned, and the skills they acquired during their MBA program. The survey also sought to evaluate how effectively the university’s resources, such as the library and workshops, contributed to the students' academic success and professional preparedness.
To analyze the collected data and extract meaningful insights, JMP software was utilized. This powerful statistical analysis tool enabled the project team to delve deep into the data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas where students expressed both satisfaction and the need for improvement. The analysis provided a clear picture of the strengths of the MBA program, such as the positive impact of networking opportunities and the effectiveness of placement sessions, while also highlighting areas that could benefit from further enhancement, such as the need for more targeted workshops or better access to certain academic resources.
Overall, the findings from the survey and the subsequent analysis using JMP software have been instrumental in understanding the student experience at LM Thapar School of Management. The insights gained from this project are expected to guide future improvements, ensuring that the MBA program continues to evolve and meet the needs of its students, thereby enhancing their academic and professional outcomes.

A survey has been conducted on LMTSM Placement Experience for the MBA batches of 2022-2024 and 2023-2025. The survey comprises descriptive responses in a structured form. It covers various aspects such as tasks and skills acquired, resume enhancement, networking, workshops, MBA journey, participation in clubs, and the effectiveness of library resources. A total of 56 respondents filled out the feedback form, and we analyzed the data using word cloud and text analysis techniques. We have collected the positive, negative and neutral feedback through the survey. Furthermore, the feedback emphasized the effectiveness of the library resources in supporting their academic and research endeavors, highlighting the importance of access to relevant materials and assistance. Overall, the responses indicate a high level of satisfaction and appreciation for the comprehensive and holistic approach to placement experience at LMTSM, setting a positive tone for future cohorts and continuous improvement.
