1. This social issue has many consequences such as obesity, weakness or even worsened learning ability/poor academic performance and decreased interactions with other people.
2. It is a chronic disease characterized by drug seeking and use that is compulsive or difficult to control, despite harmful consequences.
3. These are poor or homeless young individuals who live outside or in unoccupied dwellings and wasteland, and who are inadequately protected or supervised.
4. This is another type of violence using our new technology which makes harassment easy because it provides anonymity to the coward.
5. This has existed throughout human history. It may be defined as the hatred of one person by another-or the belief that another person is less than human because of skin color, language, customs, etc.
6. It is the complete lack of the means necessary to meet basic personal needs, such as food, clothing and shelter.
7. According to the 2017 survey study, some of the causes of ______________ are greed of money, desires, higher levels of market and political monopolization.

Social Injustice or Social Issues
SOCIAL ISSUES An issue that has been recognized by society as a problem that is preventing society from functioning at an optimal level and preventing people from living a good life. Issues that harm a group of people in the society. A state of affairs that negatively affects the personal or social lives of individuals or well-being of communities or larger groups within a society.
Value Judgement
Value Judgement a judgment of the rightness or wrongness of something or someone, or of the usefulness of something or someone, based on a comparison or other relativity.
Value Judgement It does not simply describe the world; they prescribe certain attitudes or behaviors toward the world.
Value Judgement It is based more on perceptual understanding on a certain issue; a claim that a particular human action or object has some degree of importance, worth or desirability.
Things to consider before making a value judgement 2 . Give your value judgements without bias. 1. Think and analyze the situation before giving your perceptual understanding.
Things to consider before making a value judgement 3. Before giving statements, always put yourself on the situation they are in and speak your side as if like you are one of the persons involved in the issue. 4. REFLECT!

One way to get a quick handle on the nature of value judgments is to see that any statement of fact can easily be converted into a value judgment by introducing a value term. Descriptive normative
descriptive just what you think it is. It describes a situation. It simply tells us/ what is the case. 1. The mug of coffee in front of me is now at room temperature. 2. I had a toast and eggs for breakfast this morning. 3. Kevin is under six feet tall. They are all descriptive statements. They make no value judgement . They are stating something what they had seen or experienced.
Prescriptive/Normative a claim about something should be. 1. If you wanted to pass the test you should have studied harder. 2. "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, is a better movie than Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace." 3. If an employer finds that older people are underrepresented in their workplace, they can state in recruitment adverts that older peopleare welcome to apply. 4. President Bush did his best to defend the country from terrorism, so I think he deserves more respect. Each of them expresses a value judgement. They are considered as normative statements.
The girl is combing her hair. Each household should have their own waste segregation system to prevent burning of plastics that can cause pollution. The boy is leisurely walking on park with his dog while getting stares from other people due to his Afro hair. The sun is setting. You should have studied harder to ace your test. Sakura is a useless character. Michael Jackson died in 2009. Surrogates should make life-sustaining treatment decisions based on their knowledge of patients’ preferences. The car is red. Jazz is better than pop music. Killing an innocent person is wrong. The river is flowing quickly. Low sugar consumption reduces risk of diabetes and heart failures.
