4. Why should we use Realia in ELT? Using realia ; stimulates the mind, and makes the vocabulary more memorabl e saves time breathes life into new vocabulary And, Realia has the benefit of really grabbing students attention, and prompting them to speak

5. How can we use Realia? Use objects related to lesson. Plan time in your lessons for students to physically hold the objects. Practice using them (read a map) Closely observe them (ex-examine different coins) Role play (planning role play time)

6. Advantages The using of realia makes lessons more interesting and enjoyable. Realia is a link between language learning and sociocultural learning. Realia brings EFL classes nearer to the English spoken countries. Using of realia helps students discover and process new input. Realia is a good complement to the usual reading materials. Realia is accesible and relevant. Provides a focus away from the written word or 1:1 interaction. Useful to help your students grasp the cultural differences or practical skills.

7. Disadvantages Real objects may not support cultural distinctions. Activities with real objects might lose the class path. S pending too much time in one activity with real objects in the class when it is applied in a wrong way.
