Entrelac in the Round
Entrelac can be worked in the round (as in the Fruit and
‘Veggie Caps on page 139). Here are a few tips.

그. After working a row
of Base Tianges cut
the yarn and join the
round by tying the two
ends ofthe yarn
together withthe kit
side facing out With a
second color, work the
fist RS Rectangle as
you would for the Basic
Entel, picking up the
stitches along the edge
ofthe fist triangle

2. The fist RS
Rectangles complete,
and you ae ready to
work the next rectangle

Continue making
rectangle between
each pair of triangles
te complete the round.
Turn the work to the

wrong side and work
the WS Rectangles
following the
instructions for Basic
Entrelc #

Wrap and Turn (w&t)

To avoid holes when working the Base Triangles from
an existing piece of kitting, in this case stockinette
stitch, you need to use the “wrap and turn” technique.
(In the example here, we're knitting in the round.)

1, On the et sie, work to the
stiteh to be wrapped With yarn
in back slp the next stich to the
fight-hand needle. Move yarn
between the needles tothe front
Sig the same stitch back to let
hand needle 2s shown.

>

2. Bring the yarn tothe back
again ss shown, and tun to
‘work the next row on the wrong
side. One stitch is wrapped.

3. When shortrows are done,

hide wraps: Work upto wrapped
