1. Jesus’ Speaks to Us Through Our Conscience

2. Deep within us is our conscience. Its voice, tells us to do what is good and to avoid evil ... For man has in his heart a law inscribed by God. His conscience is man's most secret core and his sanctuary. There he is alone with God whose voice echoes in his depths. CCC 1776

3. We can form our conscience by doing the following: We listen attentively to our teacher in the study of the moral teachings of the Catholic Church. We can do the same thing during the sermon of the priest or bishop, where they explain the Word of God

4. We remain faithful and obedient to God even if things are challenging to understand.

5. We pray and spend some quiet moments talking with God. It is through prayer that God communicates to us.

6. We develop and maintain a well- formed conscience through frequent and honest examination of conscience.

7. We receive the sacrament of reconciliation. The goal of examining our conscience is to help us repent and lead us to the sacrament of reconciliation.

8. We consult our parents, teachers, and parish priests, or any adult we trust and are good to us. We can tell them how we feel about ourselves and ask their advice.
