KEEP YOUR MICROPHONE ON MUTE Reduce background noise and distractions. Microphones can pick up background sounds that may not bother you but may bother your classmates and teacher. If you want to say something, raise your hand and wait for the teacher to acknowledge you before unmuting.
TURN ON YOUR CAMERA It sends a message that you are engaged in class. It's also easier to respond to teachers with a quick nod is than typing into the chat or unmuting. You'll also stand out in classes where most students do not have their camera on.
BE FULLY PRESENT Pay attention and participate actively. Don't play games on your phone, check your social media or watch videos. Focus on the event, take notes and participate in the discussion. Also, avoid constantly moving away from your study area because that may be distracting to your teacher and classmates.

ACTS COMPUTER COLLEGE Sta. Cruz, Laguna Research Project Prepared by: MS. CHRISHELYN DACSIL
Prepared by: MS. CHRISHELYN DACSIL ACTS Computer College | Sta. Cruz, Laguna 5 Chapter 5 (Summary of Findings, Conclusion and Recommendation)
4/19/2022 6:16 PM ACTS Computer College | Sta. Cruz, Laguna 15 In this lesson you will : Know the do’s and don’ts in making Chapter 5 Learn how to create a good summary of findings, conclusion and recommendation OBJECTIVES:
Reminder: It is important that everything in this last section is based on the results of the data analysis .
Summary of Findings
Summary of Findings Restatement of main and sub-problems . Reiteration of the type of research, nature, size of sample and locale of study . Enumerate or express the major findings , identify whether the null hypotheses have been rejected or not.
Summary of Findings The purpose if this section is to highlight the major statistical findings from the results section and interpret them. First, restate the overall purpose of the study. Then explain the findings as related to the overall purpose of the study. Next, summarize other interesting findings from the results section.
Summary of Findings Explain how statistical findings relate to that purpose of the study. One way to do this is to take every research question and hypothesis in turn and explain in plain terms what the statistical results mean. Also describe how the results are related to the topic in general. All explanations must be supported by the results of the data analysis.
Remember! No need to put numbers or repeat statistical computations present in Chapter 4.
Remember! Explain in simple language that will be understood by readers, by non-researchers
Remember! You may also try to integrate your findings with the finding of other research studies.
Conclusion
Conclusion The conclusion is intended to help readers understand why your research should matter to them after they have finished reading the paper. A conclusion is not merely a summary of your points or re-statement of your research problem but a synthesis of key points.
Remember! Conclusion must be based or anchored to your Summary of findings.
Remember! Conclusion is short/brief, not a repetition of what is already included.
A well written conclusion must include the following: 1 Presenting the last word on the issues you raised in your paper.
A well written conclusion must include the following: 2 Summarizing your thought and conveying the larger implications of your study.
A well written conclusion must include the following: 3 Demonstrating the importance of your ideas.
A well written conclusion must include the following: 4 Introducing possible new or expanded ways of thinking about the research problem.
Remember! AVOID BEING BIAS. AVOID GIVING INCORRECT GENERALIZATION .
Remember! PROVIDE SUFFICIENT AND ACCURATE INFORMATION.
Recommendation
4/19/2022 6:16 PM ACTS Computer College | Sta. Cruz, Laguna 35 Recommendation The main purpose of this part is to help solve a problem that you found out in your study. You can also recommend the continuance of something good.
Remember! Address the concerned person, agency, office.
Remember! Make it a point that your recommendation is feasible, attainable, doable and practical.
Remember! You may go back to the significance of the study, check your beneficiaries in order to address a certain action for them.
Remember! Do not give recommendations that are out of your topic. Focus on the results of your research.
Remember! Be careful in using the modals, MUST and SHOULD.
Remember! You may include a recommendation for future research or further study.
