1. RESOURCES
What are resources?
Resources are the materials which have got value
and used to satisfy our needs.
There are few characteristics of Resources:
➢Utility
➢Value
➢Depletion or Consumption

2. Types of resources
Resources are classified under certain criterian
and there as follows:-
●Biotic and abiotic resources
- Biotic resources are those which have life or
formed from living things. For example trees
animals
- Abiotic resources are those which dont have life/
non-living things. For example coal petroleum
school.

3. ●Renewable and Non- renewable
Resources:-
●Renewable resources are the resources
which can be renewed quickly. They have
the continuous source of supply.
● For example: wind solar energy
water
Water

4. ●Non-renewabnle resources: these are those
resources which cant be replenish in human
life. It takes thousands of year to form.
For examples: coal petroleum natural
gas

6. NATURAL RESOURCES
Natural resoures are those which we get
from nature and used to satisfy our needs
without much modification. Many of the
natural resources can be without any
modification.

7. HUMAN MADE RESOURCE
Human made resources are those which
changed their form completly from man and
available for consumption. Natural
resources converted into human made
resource by human.

8. Human resources
Human with his intelligence he make use
resources efficiently and satisfied his own
needs. Without his intelligence many
resources cant be used so he is also an
important resources. When we feel sick we
go to doctor and get treatmen, there doctor
is act as a resource.
