2. Planning to Revise Start your revision early enough Successful students revise throughout the course as well as during the time before an exam Make a timetable. Give more time to your weaknesses . Revise every lesson’s work on the evening after the lesson • B egin your exam revision at least 2 months before your exams Plan when you will cover each topic in the syllabus S tick to your decision

3. Planning to Revise • As you revise, problems will come up list your problems. Get extra help on your problems from your teacher • Leave sufficient time to do plenty of past paper questions • Don’t fill all your time with revision You need some social activities in between to refresh you.

4. Doing Your R evision Cont Revise in several short sessions with breaks Avoid too long revision session. After a break, quickly recap on what you have revised already. Plan to revise two or more different subjects each day.

5. Doing Your R evision Cont Some Ideas of ‘active revision’. • Make notes. Make shorter sets of bullet points of key information. • Use colours to make a visual impact e.g. underline or highlight headings and main phrases.
