3. INTRODUCTION Most of the educational institutions administrators are worried about student irregular attendance. Absenteeism can effect student whole academic performance. The ordinary method of taking attendance by calling names or signing on paper is very time taking and insecure and inefficient . In this particular project we show how we provide an advance attendance system with time management system.

6. COMPONENTS REQUIRED Arduino Nano GSM module(SIM 800L module) LCD display RFID MFRC 522 module RFID tags DS3231 RTC module Jumper wires 3.7V 18650 holder with battery Buzzer Bread board

8. WORKING PROCEDURE The RFID tag will be taken in contact to the reader. RFID reader reads the RFID tag. The RFID reader stores the data of the tag. The stored data passes from reader to microcontroller and students information to the LCD display. The attendance of the students is taken and the message of being present or absent is sent to the parents via gsm. Gsm system is used to send SMS to their parents.

9. ADVANTAGES Proxy attendance can be caught. Hard copy paper work of attendance sheets is reduced. Data can be store long time compare to attendance sheets. Low cost. DISADVANTAGES RFID attendance system is secured , but there is a chance of misusing the cards.

10. APPLICATIONS Schools. College/universities. Software companies. Industries. Government offices to monitor attendance. Staff attendance in hotels and resorts .

11. SUMMARY Overall, RFID attendance system offer a modern and efficient way to manage attendance in various environments, from schools and universities to workplaces and events. This system enhances accuracy, reduces manual effort, and integrates well with other management systems .
