RESPONSE CLUSTER : FOOD AND NON- FOOD ITEMS IMPLEMENTATION PLAN Lead: SDRRM-Response Team Members: BDRRMC, MDRRMC, MSWD Scenario: When the earthquake occur, affected individuals' basic necessities like food, water, shel ter and medical supplies may be severely limited. It is imperative to provide immediate relief goods to affected individuals ensuring survival. Disaster occurs with a little warning, leaving individuals in urgent need of assistance. Relief goods enable rapid response effort, allowing aid organizations and government agencies to provide immediate relief to those impacted, potentially saving lives in the critical early stage of a crisis. Lack of access to essential resources can lead to further suffering, illness, and even death. By providing relief goods, organizations can help prevent the escalation of humanitarian crises and mitigate the long-term impacts of disaster on individuals. 22

Objectives: To ensure well- coordinated, and fair distribution of food and non-food packs to affected individuals. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate with the BDRRMC, MDRRMC and MSWD on the distribution of food and non-food items. 2. Assist in the distribution of food and non-food items. 23
