2. . Sarvepalli Radhakrisnan was an Indian politician and statesman who served as the second president of India from 1962 – 1967.

CONCLUSION   When Radha Krishnan became the President of India, some of his students and friends requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday on 5 th September but he replies, “ Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if September 5 th observed as Teacher’s Day”. His remarkable journey concluded on April 16, 1975, in Chennai, marking the end of a life dedicated to education , philosophy , and nation-building .
