Water is not only important for human beings but for the entire ecosystem. Without enough water, the existence of humans, as well as animals, is next to impossible. After fresh air, water is the second most important natural resource for the survival of any living being. About 71% of Earth’s surface is covered with water. Unfortunately, only 3% of the water available is freshwater.

Water and health The body is comprised of 72% of water. We cannot live without water for more than 24 hours. 1.8 million people die from diarrhea death where 90% are children 88% is attributed to unsafe water supply, inadequate sanitation and hygiene.
Environment Don’t throw your household waste near drinking water sources. Clean your house and surroundings daily. Don’t throw paper , plastic, households wastes into open drains that run through the street. Throw litter into a bin and dispose of it properly.
