ADOPTION OF THE BASIC EDUCATION
MONITORING AND EVALUATION FRAMEWORK
BEMEF to guide the DepEd operating units across
governance levels in the conduct of M & E.
Supports the global and national commitments to
delivering basic education in the country.

All DepEd Operating units shall conduct monitoring of their
respective programs, projects, and activities. The result can
immediately inform PPA implementers of the necessary
adjustment of plans so they can achieve their targets outputs
and outcomes.
The PMIS is one of the mechanisms in doing the
monitoring in DepEd and is currently the official
source of data on PPAs from planning to
implementation. PIR is established as a reporting
platform for DepEd OUs at all governance levels.
